Couldn't wait any longer.

Waited 12 weeks and still in BX. Bought a Magnesium 300C today off the lot. Paid a lot but reading this forum every day was more than I could take.

I had a lot of reservations about Magnesium, which I waited 13 weeks to get.
I have now had my C a little over a week and I have really come to like the color. The color changes a lot in different lighting.

Congrats on your "C". DId you ask your dealer what their allocation was and how many cars they overordered? I'm getting ready to make the same move you did. My only problem is my price. No dealer will even talk to me when I give them my price. I can't see paying a substantial price increase just to get the car. But everyday that changes.

I bought the car from a different dealer than the one I ordered from. The dealer I ordered from said he had "several" ordered ahead of mine and still couldn't get an allocation for them. If they had been able to get the allocation I would have had a better deal by about $1300 than the one I got. On the one I bought they gave me $350 over blue book trade in value on my BMW 528i against factory sticker + $1,300 for the $50 deductable 7 year/100,000 mile extended warranty (and that was only after a couple of hours of negotiations). Not a good deal but my wife was drooling all over the car so we went for it.

Trust me I know the feeling. I've got two on order(two different dealers) first one to get here I'm taking. I've been in BX since 7/5/04. I'm giving DCX a call on Wed. to check starus. I'll will make a seriuos decision then as to my next move.
Back in the day the RoadRunner was my favorite car and you have two,Nice
