Where's the gas filler door button??

this will sound stupid, but where is the gas lever release button on the
chrysler 300 (2006). I just bought it today and they didn't give me the manual and I need to get gas.

Just push on the left side of the gas 'door', and it will open.

My name is Steve, but you can call me Cueball.

LOL!

I had the same problem. I had the owners manual tho. Sitting at the pump, I had to look it up.

When you push on the left "side", just make sure it's near the left EDGE, and it'll open for ya!

Fuel Door Button

The button is on the dash, lower left corner, next to the button marked FC, (flux capacitor). At least that's where it is in the SRT-8. I think its the same in all the 300's.

Hope that helps.

Dan

It was me. Ever since Huntington Beach October '05, it was me!

Use a small microfiber towel when you push on it so you dont get fingeprints or nail scratches on it. Also , you wont mess up those pretty nails

Yup that's the same for my 2005 "C" as well as my dad's '06 SRT8. But I think I accidentally hit the JATO button on Dad's car when I last drove it 'cuz that thing sure takes off fast

What do other cars have? Every car in my family (1994 Olds, 1998 BMW, 1985 MB, and the SRT) open the same way. What's the alternative?

Well even though we were having some fun with this thread, every other car I've had has either had a release inside which caused the door to "pop" open (even my beater 1990 Accord has this) OR the panel around the gas door has had an indentation so you can put your finger in and lift up.
