Unhappy need some advise PLEASE...

undefined
Ok here is the problem. I purchase my Blue 300c the day after Labor day with Nav,Turtle trim, HID, sticker 36,300. The car how has 4400 miles and I love it I really do. Since owning it I have got the windows tinted with a smoke tint and added the crome pillars as seen on ebay. I have just been activated for the National Guard and will be gone for a year. I am looking to sell the car I don't want to make Payments for a year and not even drive the car. What do you think I should do to lose the least amount of money as I can.
Any advise would be greatly appricated
Thanks,
Danny

Well, since I don't know of any site that has a used value for the C's yet, my advice would be to go to the dealer you bought it from, explain your situation, and ask them what they would sell it for if they had a used one with 4000 miles. Just tell them you aren't interested in trading it in to them, you just need to get an idea of how much to ask for it. I would think that the used car manager would be able to give you a rough idea given your situation. Contrary to what seems to be said all the time, not all dealerships are crooks.
I would say about 4,000 less than you bought it for, but I really have no clue, and I've read here and elsewhere that Chrysler's resale value is pretty bad. Don't know if that would apply to such an in demand car though.
Good luck!

Check with your veterans source as your interest will be locked at a low rate and perhaps your payments might be deferred. Also, you'll have 1 year of payments paid and return to a new car w/ 4400 miles. Think about how excited (other than getting la-d) you'll be after your tour is over-women and your 300C!!!! Hey why not break in the backseat!! It's a win-win situation! If your married, I'm sure your wife would love you in your new Hemi! Good luck! Keep a pic of your car with you at all times.

The term used by dealers when you trade a car in is ACV. Actual Cash Value. They go through great lenghts to tell you the blue book or simular guides are just that ,guides. As you found out when you purchased that 300c MSRP was explained as only the suggested price and many or most have added to the price of that sticker.
The car is still a hot property at this time and I can't imagine you taking a beating getting out of it with 4000 miles and upgrades. No, you won't get every dime back you put in it but unless you were part of the unfortunate group that paid the large over sticker price the dealers put on the car, I would think starting around $1000 below MSRP and being alittle flexable, or advertising for a buyer to takeover payments ,with new financing in their name, in a local paper or auto trader.

I like the suggestion of asking your lender to defer your payment or make interest only payments while you are serving your country !

After bouncing around in a military vehicle for a year it sure would be nice to come home to your still new BABY!

Best of luck to you and God Bless and protect you.
