Seriously, sorry everyone is having this issue. I’ve not noticed any problems, is it happening to all 300 trim levels?

Don't know Danno, but I can tell you this. I'm sorry to say you're at risk.

Add me to the leaky tranny list too!!!

I noticed it the day after I had the car jacked up high on one side. I still ended up driving it to Springfield which was a big risk but I didn't see one drop while parked anywhere, so the weight of the fluid against the o-rings when the tranny was tipped to one side after jacking must have done it.

I'm not leaking right now in the garage either. I'll make an appointment to take it in this week.

I also was unfortunate enough to find a leaking tranny. Went to the dealer and it was fixed at no charge. Still makes me wonder if this will be an ongoing problem.

supposedly the new o-rings are an improved design/material. I guess we'll all find out soon enough

mine was done last October; and everything is fine on mine too. But I'm just wondering if we're all gonna go through "round 2" in ANOTHER 6k to 10k miles....

I've seen it posted here that the o-rings are improved and this should not be a recurring problem, and that is what the dealer told me as well. The reason I still wonder is that a good friend (actually my brother's best friend from way back) is a tech at a Mercedes dealership in SoCal and he told me this has been a known issue on Mercedes cars since 1996! But he did say the replacement O-rings that MB uses seem to be holding up. Makes you wonder why Chrysler didn't see fit to use the "improved" o-rings from the start since it was already a known issue with a known fix.

Exactly -- makes much more sense to pay a dealership technician for .5 hours or whatever it is, supply new O-rings, and make every customer have to take the time to schedule a service appointment and hassle with it.

In all seriousness though, I'm extremely happy with my car overall - - this is the ONLY issue I've taken my car in for. (I had the rear bumper sag, but fixed that one myself). Still you gotta wonder why they thought they could get away with the cheaper o-rings that had already proven defective by MB.

Add me to the list as well.

I was getting the oil changed and they found that it was leaking and fixed it, no charge along with tightening the tie rod end for me.

Hopefully it will fix the pulsing acceleration.
