Add me to the leaking trans crew...

well, woke up with the big puddle on the garage floor today. went to warnock chrysler on route 10, and two hours later it was fixed. this is the TSB about the two leaky o-rings. so lets re-cap...6000 miles, slipping trans, 12000, leaking trans. i wonder was 18000 miles is going to bring about?! happy motoring, all.

Sorry to hear about lthe tranny leak. But, that's the great thing about this forum! You can learn about common issues that arise with the 300s so that you are better prepared and educated to deal with them should they happen to you. Glad all your repairs have worked out!

I think that anyone who hasn't had the tranny issues fixed yet should do what I did. Went to my dealer with the new TSB for the water in the tranny which basically encompasses all of the vehciles within the build time frame. Asked them to perform the test, replace the dipstick seals and add the new O rings for the 13 pin connector. They were more than willing to comply.

They found no problems such as water or fluid leaks. Yet, I now have peace of mind that no problems will occur. Why wait for the problem?

grady, exactly what you describe as the two problems ive had, and both were fixed each time. apprently dcx has fixed these problems with the 06 hemis because i havent heard much. it doesnt seem to be the actual trans either, just the seals in each instance. who knows. hope i have no more problems.

ADD me too! 9,000 miles. Big red puddle. I had noticed some minor stains on the garage floor and was going to have this done at the next oil change (2,000 miles from now). But the size of this puddle means I have to get it done NOW. I wonder how much fluid I am down....

And can it affect RWHP? (the dyno readings for my car are 20 hp below identical (well they have stock exhaust I have M/F) cars tested on the same dyno on the same day.

I didn't even know about the problem until I took my 300c in for an oil change and went to pick it up and they said it had a tranny leak. Fixed it...bout 15,000 miles, currently has 19,000

Got me worried now. Only a little over 2K on it and have had it for less than a month. 06' C AWD made on Nov. 22. Anyone with a build date around then that has had a problem?

...and yet another leaker!

Add me to the list....2006 with 21,000 miles but has been leaking for a while. I go to the dealer tomorrow to give them a chance to do the right thing. Fix the leak and do the fill tube leak test just because. We'll see.......

These leaks have got to stop! Too much pissing tranny fluid just ain’t right!

Seriously, sorry everyone is having this issue. I’ve not noticed any problems, is it happening to all 300 trim levels?
