Four Wheel Drive

Not an owner yet.

Similar to another user from Canada I am concerned about the high power rear drive.

Understand there will be 4 wheel drive (benz 4-matic) coming on the car....anyone have any idea when might be available (even approximately) ?

Thanks.

Fall,October likely, may be later given the demand for the current model.

Just got back from the dealership...

I inquired about it (AWD, that is) to the salesman out in the lot. He said he's seen it for months in the magazines and online like the rest of us here, but no word from DC headquarters.

Well, since it was approaching closing time and be were BSing back inside the showroom he decided to pull up the Chrysler dealership ("Connection"?) website (I forgot the URL). Anyway... thumbing through there he found the AWD option for the Limited and C model 300s! This was news to him, so he announced it to the remaining salesmen who were also like, "huh, really... And nobody told us?"

Long story short... it's coming. And will be orderable in the next few months (maybe August) for the end of the 2004 calendar year (AKA 2006 model year). Perfect timing for us folks in New England!
