piston ring

can anybody get the vin numbers of the 2006 srt-8 that have the problem with the piston seeding.

There is no master list of VIN numbers available from any sources that I could find, the information is kept very confidential. Only the selling dealers have a list of VINs and the VIN's are only for vehicles sold by the particular dealership.

You can ask your dealer to run a VIP Summary Report on your vehicle to give you either peace of mind or a real headache (depending on what's in that report).

I was relieved when mine came back clean, and hope you have the same good luck.

Is there a TSB for this problem? I scanned the recent ones and didn't see one....
