TECH Help (shifting changes)

hey guys

i got a 300 base
i have a Zoomers Daul exhaust, Air Intake , and jet chip.
when i accl.
changeing into 2nd gear the car drops in rpm's normal, but then drops alittle more like i was going to stay a that speed , insted of picking up more speed .
and then it will pic up normaly. Iwould have to feather the gas alittle more to get the rpm's to get up.

it also seems like when your cruzing at 60 ,
your rpm's drop alittle to low for that speed so your always feathering the gas. when you feather the gas the rpm's jump up and get the power
then when you back off alittle to cruz at that speed the rpm's will drop back al;ittle to low and you loss your speed.

somone has said i might have 2 much air now.
does this sound right???
they told me to try to put the stock air intake back on?
do i have to diconnect the Batt. to rest this?
thanks guys
