Big shifting hesitation at WOT

So I floor it form a stop, it gets up and moves, then it wants to shift so it, lets off the trottle...waits for the RPM's to drop...then shifts...then gives it back the gas. WTF. This sucks. It plants you in your seat, then throws you forward, then plants your A** again. Also seams to do same thing when you gun it while you are already moving. It basically stops doing everyhting till it can downshift, then it hauls A**.
This sound familiar to anyone? What the hell is it?

Link below. I fixed mine by adjusting my driving habits. I do not have a problem anymore (read post 3 in this thread and go out and try it).

Also, some members state the GSM Torque Mod helps this problem as well.

Moose.

Yea i noticed that to. i was was driving one day and a a mustang flew by me. MY OSL(oh **** light) came on i was in manual already so i slapped it down to 2nd since i was in 4th anf floored it. The car act as if it took a breathe like "HERE WE GO" then boom it took off. I was like WTF was that ? so i 4got about the 'stang and tried again and the same. Its the computer adjusting to the amount of power that is being added so rapidly. And there's a **** load of throttle lag. I say pull of from lights harder than i wish because hit the gas and the care "thinks about it" for a second. By then i'm at 1/2 throttle which is enough to throw you back.

The Torque Management System cuts back throttle to save wear and tear on the tranny and keep shifts silky smooth at moderate acceleration.

I guess the engineers never figured that gearheads would be buying the 300C 5.7 - a car designed as Chrysler's big luxury 4 door family sedan - and driving at WOT.

I now have the superChips Tuner and the tranny shifts fast at WOT - just the way I like it!
