Temp_avg changed

Today I went to read the additional EVIC information and went to the temp_avg; temp_raw screen and hit the right arrow and my temp_avg began to drop. I did this a few more times to see if I was hallucinating but it continued to drop.
Does anyone know how to reset this or will it reset on it's own? It now reads minus 19 degrees and it's 90 degrees outside.

Found the answer to my question on the LX forum. The TempAVG will update once the car has driven for over 180 seconds at a speed of over 40 mph. You can view the counter on the Diagnostic Mode Displays that have the TempAVG and TempRAW. There is a counter just below this.
