Black soot inside exhaust tips ?

I noticed my exhaust tips are getting black on the inside and if I wipe the inside I get black soot looking stuff.Does this indicate the engine is running too rich or some other problem? The car seems to run fine. It only has just over 800 miles on it.
Thanks
2006 300C HE (800 miles)

Normal. These cars are set up to run rich from the factory.
