I feel your pain Mikeyjohn. I gave up on the memory seat feature and am satisfied with the steering wheel moving on exit. Programing the keys is essential. The proceedure above is the trick.

1.Set all the seat pedals etc.
2. Press the "S" buton on the door panel.\
3. Press your choice either 1 or 2

Now the profile is set for either 1 or 2. When you set up the keys according to previous posts it will recall these settings

How do you set the wheel to move on exit? My seat doesn't..but I assumed that was because I have it all the way back...but i just realized my wheel hasn't moved either..ai know my personal settings are set to move on exit...thanks
