Weird and may be serious Problem

My 300C has less then 1000 miles on it. This morning I started the car like normal and was driving for a few minutes when I started to make a turn and all of a sudden my steering went numb and very hard to turn, almost like power steering got disabled. At the same time the oil pressure light went on.

I pulled over the car (as well as I could, because of the steering) and turn off the engine. Tried to turn it back on and all I got is the strater noise and the car never turned over. waited a few minutes and turned on the car, this time without the problem. Kept driving fine. Parked it at work, tried to start it agian and its fine. Several starts later still fine.

Right now, no problems, but it got me freaked out about driving on the freeway and have same thing happen. Called the dealer and the service dept does not know what it is or what it may be, but said "Keep driving until and if it happens again, then calls us".

Anybody has a clue? Anyone had similar problems?

If it wasn't for the oil pressure light, my guess would be a belt tension issue. Sounds like the engine almost stalled and recovered. Could be a fuel issue (some air, a little water, etc.)
