Unhappy Any News About Improved Delivery?

My dealer seems to know less than I do about when I might get my C. The web sight is now closed (expired?) where we could check status using dealer code. My car never showed up there anyway because it doesn't have VIN as best I can tell. Anyone have any new info? What is your dealer telling you?

I went to my dealer this afternoon and was able to trace my car to the local railyard and should have it at my dealer on Monday. The fleet manager made a couple of phone calls and I had an answer, so stick to your guns and demand an answer and don't go to a salesman, go to the top if you must. By the way if your dealer ordered the car then you have a VON # and this changes to a Vin# in a short time, at least that's how mine worked. It was one day less than a month from ordering to final build.
The problem that I had along with several others is the transportation system. They don't seem to have their act to-gether, and mine stayed in storage for over 2 weeks.

Be persistent. I was told for three weeks straight that my car I had ordered was in transit. I had called the dealer at least 8 times in that time frame and spoke to everybody from the sales manager to the fleet manager. They all told me that it was in transit, then i get a call saying my car never left the yard. Apparently it had been assigned to a rail car but it never got on the train. It had been sitting at the rail yard the whole time. If possible, show up in person and demand an answer as to the whereabouts of your car, if you call you will just get the runaround. I showed up in person and after 2 hours i finally got a straight answer as to what happened, I was able to get one, that actually had been shipped, with more features for the same price.
