Chrysler in Burlingame here.
Chrysler's order/build system sure seems screwed up.
Ripe for pissing a lot of people off.
No one has yet been able to explain how it really works.

Joey, I ordered from the same dealer on 6/15 and still in BX. Do you live near the dealer and are they getting in inventory. I live in So. Cal but this dealer gave me the best price.

I live across the bay, about 35 miles from Burlingame.
I have never been on the dealers lot. I ordered through a broker - Carsdirect.com which uses the Burlingame dealer to buy and deliver in the SF bay area.
Here is the Burlingame web site.
They have several 300's and C's.
http://www.lithiachryslerburlingame....fm?action=home

I asked him about all the C's he was getting and he said they were ordered before I placed my order. Hard to really know because dealer VIN numbers have a different set of numbers.

Even though I have never met the dealer, he has been upfront with no bull****. No complaints there. My beaf is that Chrysler can't make reasonably accurate build/ship forecasts and folks that ordered after me (May 27) have already received their cars.

If you really want one and you're willing to drive/fly to get it they can be found. There was one in Indy earlier this week (Cool Vanilla 300C - Anyone Looking For a Car?). When I went to Cedar Point (Sandusky Ohio) there were 2 C's there. I'd start looking in small towns around home and widen your search. I was willing to drive 400 + miles to get one but found one 50 miles away.

It's all in how much do you really want the car.

Thanks Joey. When I ordered from the dealer I also got the feeling they are a no BS dealer. One of the guys I met on the Yahoo board ordered early and got in 6 weeks. He said they were great to work with. My car was ordered under the dealers existing allocation. I'll check next week to see if I've moved out of BX. Wish me luck
