Here in Albuquerque the dealer i bought mine normally has one or two C's on the lot. If someone is intrested call them. At first they were asking for about $5000 mark up but with some good skills they will be more reasonable. 505 897 8400.

...

i got mine here in the los angeles are last week. there were delays due to some kind of rail car shortage..... and i paid more than i'd have liked to, but hey..... it is a hot item.

so.... i paid 600 under msrp and he threw in a 6/85k for supposedly his cost (900).

great guy to deal with and if your are in los angeles/ventura county area, i suggest you give him a call. his name is jim reed and he is the fleet manager at westoaks chrysler in thousand oaks. sorry, i don't have the number handy.

I feel Sorry for U all

I just ordered my 300C this last weekend, and I got it at $750 over invoice price. I could have taken a C on the lot for $400 over, but I didnt want it without all my options. This is a nice time to live in the Midwest

Got mine for $1000 under MSRP (financing discount) with 3.9% rate, in
Florida panhandle (Marianna). Very good buying experience. It had been
on the lot 1 day. I'm pretty sure I saw a C on a lot in Crestview yesterday -
it definitely had chrome rims. No markup around here that I know of.

I oredered mine 7/5/04. I'm not expecting it till mid Sept or the first part of Oct. I've been on the net trying to get a dealer with the car in stock to meet the price, but have been unsuccessful. They're not budging. Oh well, looks like I'll be waiting

The dealer I'm working with is charging $4,500 over MSRP on 300Cs off the lot. If you order one and have it built, they are charging $1,000 over MSRP. Seems like everytime they get one in it's gone that same day.

In Southern California, the Dealer I bought mine from (for sticker) is now marking them up for as much as $7K. He does have several on his lot, so I suspect as the demand shrinks locally that markup will come back off.

DCX actually does not endorse nor like the practice of markup, but they don't outright prohibit it with their 5 star dealers. By the way, the NY Times had an article on the jump in DCX profits report and specifically identified the 300C as one of the reasons their numbers have popped!

In central Ohio, the dealers begin all deals from the original MSRP window sticker. No dealers with the mark-up scam, that I have heard about. If a dealer even did a $2000 mark-up above the original factory MSRP, I would walk-away. I don't play that game. I would only use such a dealer for test drives and oil changes. Would never buy a car from them. In a few weeks 300Cs will be out in greater numbers so, I do not need to blow an extra $3-7,000 to get ANY vehicle... EVER.

Wow I was worried that 1K over invoice may have been too much in feb when I ordered mine. I guess 2k under msrp turned out to be a very good deal.

Bought my LOADED 300C the end of August in San Diego. Dealer was marking them up $10K as were other dealers in San Diego (those that had them in stock). No way was I going to pay that, but I *had* to have that black beauty on the lot, so suffice it to say, I paid more than MSRP. Do I regret it? No Way! (Even at the price I paid, it was a steal! I LOVE THIS CAR!)

Hey, it's all about supply and demand!
