Turn the key from acc to on three times without starting it, and you should see dash lines show up in the evic. The code will pop up. You may have more than one so have a pen and paper.

Most definately a dead battery by your post of ".....radio the whole day......".
By "dead" .....not enough juice to turn over enginge, but enough to turn on less current demanding items.
If you can not get the dash lights and indicators to come on with turning on the key, then you will need to jump or charge the battery.
Good chance the check engine light will be off once the battery is charged.

There's not gonna be a code for a dead battery; that's all it is man. Charge it up with a trickle charger (better for the battery than a fast charge) and don't worry about it.

You CAN jump start it and then let the alternator charge it as you drive, but that's not the best way. The alternator is designed to maintain the state of charge, not to re-charge a dead battery. Depending on how dead the battery is it could put undue strain on the alternator.

Humm, interesting to note the check engine light went off AFTER you filled up. There's a good chance the gas cap wasn't on tight enough. That'll throw codes for sure. Keep an eye on that, it's happened here many times before.
