I'll bump this thread for ya because I know there are people on here who have had 'lemons' bought back by Chrysler. You might have a tough time claiming 'lemon' on an '05 though, but I guess that would depend on what the law in your state is.

It has been to the dealership at least three times for the same problem, let alone twice for the sunroof realignment, one headliner rattle, new key FOB replaced, new NAV disk, steering wheel volume button replaced, washer nozzle replacedon hood, washer nozzle replaced on headlight, and sunvisor clip replaced. I know that the other stuff was not as bad, but it just seems to be a lot under one year. The check engine light, misfiring engine and stalling seems to be the most concerning and dangerous (This was the latest that was in three times already). Now I just noticed my automatic headlights are staying on most of the time (trust me, I know how to work them and am aware of the weather conditions).

I know there are several members who've mentioned in passing they've done the Lemon Law thing here. I don't recall anyone specifically detailing how it was done though. I think you need to start by consulting a lawyer first though. We don't have the Lemon Law in Canada, so we have to go through arbritration.

Trade that puppy in.

Get yourself another one.

You will not get a lemon law replacement on a 05.

Learn your state laws first, but as mentioned, unless you have a crazy state law, an 05 will not apply. In my case, I qualified for 4 of the 5 requirements for my state (only needed 1 to win mind you) and it took over a year and I had to get a lawyer but in the end, I now have my SRT (and a lighter wallet) but it was sooooo worth it.

Actually had a Ford Expedition lemoned - by the dealer no less - probably 4 or 5 years ago. The reverse sensing system would come on for about 15 minutes - while you were driving forward (only when cold in the morning). Dealer had the vehicle for well over 30 days. I actually was trying to make arrangements on my own to have it lemoned (without the dealer knowing) - when I got a call from the dealer to please come pick up all the stuff in the vehicle - they wanted to lemon the truck. Ended up with another brand new one - with some options that we originally didnt get on the first one (had to pay the difference).

HOPEFULLY never have to go through that again though.

Just researched it, and actually found out that the mileage has to be less than 18K miles from first owner purchase date. Mine is over. Regardless, will basic, or extended warranties, ever cover a replacement if the problem can''t be resolved?

No, the warranties will only cover repairs during the warranty period. If you have a recurring issue bring the district manager from Chrysler in if needed and be sure to try more than 1 service department.
