OIL burning

I have a 05 300 with the 3.5L motor and just over 40,000 miles. It just started using oil, has anybody else experienced this? I have not replaced the PCV valve yet, could it be that simple?

well what do you mean by "using oil" ? Do you mean 1/2 a quart low when it's time to change oil at 3000 miles? If its something along those lines don't even worry about it. If it's a quart in 1000 miles then I'd be concerned.

If you are going past 3000 miles (on conventional oil) or using cheap (i.e. Fram or the like) filters those could be contributing factors.

And yes is COULD be as simple as a clogged PCV valve; you can probably just clean it with some carb cleaner spray and re-install, or replace it.

PCV Valve

I bought a PCV valve from the dealer for 4.00 (cheap) Now my dilemma is where is it? Do I have to remove the intake?
