accelerator sticks

I have the exact opposite of the sluggish accelerator, my pedal has actually stuck to the floor once and moved on it's own once. The latter first then one week later as I was passing someone on the road it stuck to the floor and I panicked, it stayed to the floor board. I have it at the dealership right now however they claim there is nothing wrong. I told them to keep the car until they figure out what is wrong. I am wondering if anyone out there has some advice for me on how to handle this, or if anyone out there has had this probem.

Naw... once you turn the ESP off it's all action. Mine surges a bit at maintained throttle using the shifter. I run it fairly hard on the back roads and places where I'm staying even on the throttle I notice some surge in 3rd especially. Wish I had an answer for you.

Just noticed this,

Do you have Power Pedal option?
Maybe the rug or floor mat got caught?

There was a thread somewhere in here about this issue.

Good luck and let us know what the dealer finds.

At 2kRPM, especially if I'm in traffic and holding it in 1st, the car DOES NOT want to hold ~2kRPM. Very annoying. Similar thing happens when the car is cold in the morning, but I've never written different behavior when cold as unusual.

heheh, those threads about weird things happening with the adjustable pedals are exactly why I never got that option.

Calling all tech guys...HELP

I have the same issue with the missfire feel....

It happens at 2000 to 2400 rpm any gear any speed.

Dealer already changed plugs, 3 times EGR, PCV, throttle clean etc.........no change. I am doubting the EGR as I heard that it should seal properly !!!....also something about the sensitivity of the EGR, close open time.

Where is this EGR ?

Any one has any ideas ?

This is very annoying...I love the car, but this is driving me crazy.....
Any help would be appreciated.

A little confused here. After slowly releasing the pedal, what is the next step? should I take the key out or start the car? Thanks. Just want to make sure I am doing this correctly.
