I was just curious if anyone experienced a persistant return of the infamous hesitation even after following the advice provided here. I am a new user to this site and a new owner of a 2007 300C and i am honestly regreting the purchase quite a bit as it is one of a few annoying problems i have with the car.

I know this is an old thread and it has been addressed many a times, but I did not see anyone on this site post anything about a constant return of the problem. Any further advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

I will make it real easy for you- go and buy the Diablosport Predator and it will solve your hesitation problem. It will turn your car into a beast too.

Will it clear up the unexplainable bump a lot of us experience when at a red light? Almost feels like being rear-ended by a ghost.

not sure I dont even know what that is or what could cause it, but I will say the car will drive better overall.

Thanks for the advice. Ya, I do my own recalibration every so often because it never seems to be a permanant fix on my car. My ride has lots of electrical problems and experiences new ones all the time. It is a true POS. I hate this car but do appreciate all the help and guidance I have received on this site.

The people here rock!

"When pulling away from a stop, up to about 45mph, if I am just accelerating gently, at 1/3 or less throttle, the car seems to lunge and surge, maybe those are better words than "hesitation". I will try a search for those words."

I have a 2006, 5.7, and the 3 to 4 shift has the lunge-surge. It will give a code from time to time, which is "bad gear ratio." The Dealer has replaced the transmission, but it is still the same. The 3 to 4 shift at 31 MPH still has the lunge or surge. At faster speeds, it is also present at the 3 to 4 shift. Both in Manual and in Drive.

Has any else had this problem ? and have you solved it ? Thanks.

The problem you are all experiencing is in the shotty electronics Chrysler puts in these cars. I was recently on the plan with an individual from Chrysler's QA Dept and he admitted to "struggling" with the electronics.

The sluggishness / hesitation or whatever you want to call it is due in part to the throttle by wire DC uses. The other part is the tranny which is also 100% controlled by wire except for the internals.

The fix...recalibrate your Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS) by followin the steps on this site. I have to say it appears to help 99% of the users on this site. (It didn't help me)

You can also go to the dealer and get the latest ECU Flash. Some claim this will help too.

I've tried both and my car is still a POS but I will keep reading and searching for an answer. Meanwhile my car is up for sale.
