Stay away from Allen Samuels in DFW

If you live in the DFW area, stay away from Allen Samuels in Ft. Worth. I recently had to have the O-ring sensor replaced in the transmission and when I got my car back, every CD in the 6-disc had been stolen. I know it was stupid to leave the CD's in the car, but that should not happen at a five-star dealership. After a month or so of complaints, I was reimbursed for the CD's. Anyway, just dont take your car there to be serviced or if you do make sure the bolts on your wheels are tight.

One should never have to remove the goods from the car when it goes to the dealership but occasionally you get a bad person working there.
You should advise the dealership and they can be on the lookout for your Barry Manilow CD-

That is completely unacceptable IMO, what if they needed to remove the wheels and the idiot thought it would be funny to leave your lugs loose? So stupid...

Michaelr, who told you there was a Manilow CD in my car? My secret is out. Yeah the funny thing is I was considering buying an extended warranty from them and having some rash removed from the rims. Think I'll find another dealership.

I think I've learnt my lesson about '5 star dealerships'. I bought my car from one and everyone around town loves to rag on how horrible the place is, and it's true. I think these crooks in disguise just know the system and work their way into a great ratings using good offers (which are probably also in their favor somehow) to talk customers into filling out positive surveys..

Yeah, pretty much all domestic dealerships suck. You have to buy a Lexus, Benz or BMW to get decent service.

Thats the dealer I take my car to. Looks like I will have to inventory everything before leaving it next time.

Who was your service adviser?

actually, it was just ONE A$$ hole, not the whole dealership. Problem is there's no way to know WHO it was (could have been the tech; but probably not cuz he'd know he'd be the first suspect) or the service writer, or the lot kid who washed the car after it was serviced.........

I hate thieves..... the two times I have taken my car back to a dealer for warranty work I've removed EVERYTHING from my car just so there would be no temptations...
