Nav screen fizzles out to black

So new problem happened last week in the 300.... My screen starts to fizzle to black every time I turn it on. Its about a quarter of the screen on the right hand side. But its almost always on when I turn the car on. Its annoying because I can't see the time displays and it just looks plain bad.

Anyone?

is it just part or all of the screen? sounds like it's had a physical knock.
