Question Speaking about extreme cold...

When the temp drops below 15 outside, my car dies on start-up, kinda chokes out. It turns over, starts, dies...turns over, starts, dies... then the security lock-out takes over and I have to reset it. Only after another few cranks, the car finally stays on. Almost like the car chokes out. And, it only happens when the temps start falling below 15 or so. Anyone know what causes it? How to avoid it?
Thanks.

When i was in wisconsin for 4 months i didnt have a problem starting my car. when it got really cold the car would run sluggish, and it was annoying to drive, but once it warmed up it was fine.

This will be the second winter I've had my car in Chicago!! Anyone who lives or knows about Chicago winters know how cold it gets here!! I have to agree with ERIK5032 about the car running sluggish at first but running great once it's warmed up. I haven't had any problem upon start up. My car normally turns over on the first try and I just leave it running for about 10min so it gets warmed up and then I'm on the road.

This is a fault, take it to the dealer.
