I found an oil pressure switch but do not know if it is the right part
Oil Pressure Switch:

This switch is $9.xx compared to the $55 05149062AA; makes me doubt that it's the part but it looks like the pic from Big K.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Yea, that Part is NOT correct.

You will need the $55 one, 05149062AA

Only place I could find it was at Chrysler Dealers

Let me know if you have ANY questions.

I called a few dealers today but none of them ship the part...They'll only sell it if I can pick it up. SUCKS!!
Any idea where else I can buy this part and have it shipped???
I am also open to any suggestions...
Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Curtis Fraser

Btw, taking off the alternator was a PAIN, especially when u feel a bit lazy. hehe

The seal on the old sensor gave out and let oil get all on the lil circuitboard of the sensor (I opened it up).
The old sensor seems to have a poor design, maybe that's why the oil sending unit has a new part number (they replaced the old one with the weak seal).
This might be one of those buy and replace before it nips you in the butt thingies...

Have a good one

Yeap, It is a pain but not too bad after you done it a few times I can do them now pretty quick and easy.

Yeap, same thing happened to my sensor, for sure bad design, hence reason for new part number

Glad ya got it fixed
