Climate control

In my 05 300 I always used to set my climate control to say 20C ( 68F) and left it there most of the time.
However something seems to be not right with my 08 car as on a journey if I were to leave the control set again to the 20c over a period of time the car would get too warm and I would have to back down the temp control to compensate.

When first starting out and the engine gets warm the fan comes on as normal ( auto low setting) and reduces speed as it should do as the interior of the car starts to warm up.
Spoke with my service manager about this and he seemed to think that some re programming was needed. Any one else experiencing any problems with their 08's climate control?
Geoff

Hi Geoff. Mine does the same thing. My 06 300C did not do it. It seems like I have to back the control down to initially start the A/C. I like it cool even in the winter here in CA. Regards, Bob.

Thanks Bob it's nice to know I am not the only one who finds their new cars climate control a little different.
I will not be having mine looked at until it's first service which will likely be sometime in the spring so if by chance you get yours checked out in the mean time maybe you could get back to me with their findings.
Thanks Geoff
