Paint Warranty

Can someone please clarify what the warranty on the paint is? I have bubbles forming on the corner of my trunk lid and they will start chipping off soon.

Brought it to the local dealer and they said that the paint is only covered for 3/36. Can this be? I even have the 7/70 on top of that. I think he was trying to get rid of me as I didn't buy it there and he doesn't have a body shop. He also said they would not cover a rental car when I thought the 2005s were covered for warranty work.

I don't know the answer off the top of my head, but it is in your warranty booklet (which came in the same pouch as the owner's manual).

When you say you have 7/70 on top of the factory warranty, I assume you mean you purchased an extended warranty, since SRT8's did not have the 7/70 powertrain coverage..... what does your extended warranty say about paint?

Not to be a smart ass (ok maybe I do ) but it boils down to what "VVV" posted yesterday...... RTFM !
