This can be an odd car at times. At least this forum helps.
I believe the seat has to be at least 6 inches or so from the back limit in order for the easy out feature to work.

i did all the way forward then up down, all the way back up down and i think the important part i think is leave it in the back position then turn the car on press ur memory button itll move up then turn the car off and it should b back to normal...
