once in a while this happens to me as well. the seat will not move back if it thinks it's too far back already. there is a point on the track that disables the seat moving back.

my suggestion, move the seat forward just a bit, save your new location in memory, and the seat should work again.

If your talking about the easy exit option where it moves back so you can get out easier, then the seat needs to re-learn this:
dont sit on the seat and move it all the way forward and tilt the base up and down, then move it all the way back and tilt the base up and down. Once its done it should work again.

no idea why it happens. but doing that also fixes the steering wheel. When my seats stop working i notice that the steering wheel stops aswell, but ive noticed that the steering wheel slowly slowly forgets how far to come down.

No problem, glad its working for ya now. I have a feeling i may have to do mine again (did it a year ago last time). Im starting to think it may happen because the process gets interrupted when you start the car before it has time to set up, and when you open the door before it finished moving. I dont know just a theory.

I just did the forward tilt, backward tilt and it didn't work. I reset my seat position forward a litle bit and upon turning the car off it did work. Once I reset the seat to my comfort area and shut the car off, it did not work again.

Now I'm inside eating a sandwich.

This can be an odd car at times. At least this forum helps.
