What's the holdup on this car?

I got some info that may be of help to those of you still waiting. It seems that the early prod date cars are being inspected by the factory and by all of the major vendors of components. They are shipping more recently ordered cars direct from the line after a brief inspection. the early cars are being inspected a few at a time. they are built and in storage. I ordered my car on 4/5 and I put 100 miles on it today. I picked it up about 1pm. It is worth the wait!!!

Talked to the dealer today trying to get an idea when the Black Pearl 300C I ordered back in Mid April will be ready. He did confirm some issue with Moon/Sun roofs, he had not heard anything regarding the Navigation system. He did say my car was listed as "D" status. He said that is the early stage of being assembled. Did not give me a VIN# yet, my VON is 12823612. So, anyone out there with "Magic VIN Sniffing Computers" feel free to see if you can find it in the system for confirmation.

I also asked about the $1000 finance incentive for May. He said he will check into finding how to get around the May 31 deadline for delivery.

Is there an easier way to check stock across the midwest for black 300c's rather than just clicking each individual dealership on chyrsler.com?

On 6/5 I was told 4-6 weeks. Now I'm being told 3-4 months.

I've located black ones in the midwest but no one will trade them off to my dealer since they do not have a C for C. I'd go to another dealership but I've already negotiated a good deal on a trade on what I already have so I'm not upside down.

I'm still hoping to work some trade with a dealership to mine but in the end may just have to sit on my hands
