Passenger side airbag off/no psngr seat belt light not working

Well, first I have to thank these other guys here who helped me with my first problem...
That being said...
I've noticed a new problem.
You know how if no one is sitting in the passenger seat, its suppose to say "Passenger Airbag Off" to the left of the ESP button? Well it doesnt, it'll light up when i start the car but then goes away after a brief moment.
The no seatbelt indicator light also does NOT work when someone is sitting there and is not wearing a belt.
Any one experience this before? Or have any input on how to fix the problem.

The passenger airbag will only shut off based on the weight on/in the seat. I do not remember the actual threshold for this, but if nobody is in the seat, the airbag will remain active and the light will remain off. To test this, lightly put some constant pressure on the seat or place a laptop bag or something on there. You will see that the light will come on and remain on as the weight is there. I am not aware of any passenger indicator light if the person in the passenger seat is not wearing a seatbelt.

To my understanding shouldnt the passenger airbag off light remain ON when there is NO weight in the passenger seat as well?
and if you look at the light to the left of the airbag off light, it looks like a no seatbelt warning.
I'll try to snap a shot of it but my camera is broken so i'll have to borrow one from someone.

Nope, nobody in the seat will not cause the light to come on or disable the airbag.

The only no seatbelt warning light I am aware of is for the driver, when not clicked, the light will flash and beep (depending on if the chime has been disabled). I'd like to see the picture of the light you are describing.

I took a closer look, it must be the passenger airbag off light, sorry for the mistake... it just looks like a no seatbelt warning light because you can seen a seatbelt
