The pedal assembly talks to the powertrain control module (PCM) which talks to the throttle body. I think the MAP talks to the PCM also so the PCM can make decisions on ignition timing and TB position.

I can tell you that my engine stalled. Sometimes it ran nearly normal (except in a limp mode), and sometimes it sounded like it was trying to run on two cylinders, and smelled like rotten eggs. I wasn't pretty!

I had a similar problem with my '05 C--I had codes P0108 2172 with engine stumbling and stalling, again MAP sensor and throttle. The problem was NOT the throttle, but the WIRING to the MAP sensor common in early build '05s was not secured properly and was getting struck by the wipers, so it only happened to me on rainy days! There's a TSB for the wiring issue.

BTW, I had nearly all of the early-build problems in my '05 C other than water in the tranny; my '07 CAWD had only a stuck reversing mirror on delivery and not one other since *knock*.

Well, it wasn't raining when I had my problems, but if the problem comes back I'll be looking at the MAP wiring. In fact, I'll take a look at it tomorrow just for giggles!

Here's a shot of a disassembled gas pedal assembly, itself having been disassembled from the pedal height adjuster portion of the throttle assembly.

Just so much junk, that is unless the MAP wiring is REALLY the culprit!

Ok, So it seems as if there is some sort of reostat configuration on that circut board, possible problem along with the MAP sensor. I dont have the rain problem or never into limp mode. I am purchasing a TB from pimpmobile, and going to the dealer Monday to purchase MAP sensor (where is the sensor located)? And purchase a pedal assy. Do you think the pedal assy was the issue? If not I will not waste the money.

So I have had this light come on in my 2009 300 last night. found the code, 2127 and everything I find says the sensors on the pedel. Do I have to replace the whole pedal or can the sensors be switched? Also I was out today with it and started it a few times and went for a drive, the light is no longer flashing but the code is still there when I cycle the key, do I still need to be concerned?

I know this is an old thread but any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
