that is the Throttle Body (drive by wire system)

the PCM is not getting a signal from it..

check the connector, I've heard of several with the problem. If the connector is seated properly, then it's possible the MAP sensor is bad (another common problem)

Hi mate, when you say "don't start" do you mean that when you turn the key the engine winds over but will not start? or turn the key and nothing happens?

That lighting bolts to me just sounds like you have a flat battery??

Sorry mate I looked into a bit and Mr i was correct, the fault on your dash indicates that you have a problem with your throttle control system, quite possible that it is just a loose plug like he said, I'm going out for dinner tonight so when I get back later I will post up some pics of where to check, the Owners Manual even quotes "Might require towing to Dealer for repair" hopefully that will be a last resort for you

Here mate, here are a couple of checks to do on your 2.7i like Mr i recommended, First thing I recommend you do is to disconnect the neg clamp on your battery in the boot to avoid arcing your Modules incase your find a loose connection.

1st pic is the throttle pedal assy, disconnect the plug, check inside the plug to see if a pin has wriggled out then reconnect, amazing what bass can do

2nd pic is the MAP sensor, same again disconnect and check the pins

3rd pic is the throttle body, same again disconnect and check the pins, disregard the sensor on your intake pipe assy, that is only for the engine air inlet temp

Trying all of the above and failing have you done? or disconnected anything? before this happened mate.

let us know how you go
