Transmission Fluid levels

Do we need to be checking or replacing our transmission fluid?

I see that in the service manual it says to check it every 3,000 miles.

Black 300C,

Hello, This is Brian Carotenuto. FYI-The transmissions in our cars have no dipstick. The dealer has a special tool and chart that they use to check ATF levels. You shouldn't have to worry about the trans fluid for about 100K miles

Hope this helps....

Sincerely,

Brian

Brian is correct. However, you can purchase you own dipstick from one of our supporting vendors if you would really like one:

Then the dealer is obviously talking about another car (a Tata maybe? Or a Yugo?) and NOT our amazing rides.

Run.....don't walk.....away from this dealer. The owner's manual AND the Dealer Service Manual say otherwise.
