Cranks but would not start

My 2006 3.5 won't start. Ok so I checked that it is not the battery because I tried jumpstarting it and no good. Checked fuel and it is over half full.

It just cranks but will not start. Previously had this hard to start problem when hot but solved it via relieving the pressure on the fuel lines. But this time no start at all it just cranks and cranks.

It happened last night. I brought the car to a friend who installs HIDs to get my HID low beam ballasts replaced. After the new HID set was installed it would not start at all, just cranks. So we reversed it and put back the original form and still no good.

I also checked the fuel pump relay and fuse at the rear fuse box (I knew they were the fuel pump relay and fuse because the Chilton and Haynes manuals say so) but they are not busted or anything. I am not sure if those are it exactly just followed the book.

Luckily I have this free 24/7 towing from the local dealership, I am from the Philippines and this is a rare thing in this country. They just call one of their towing partners nearest to my location and if it does not exceed their limit then i pay nothing and I didn't pay nothing. So the car is in my garage now.

Please help .

any codes?

do the key dance (search key dance on this forum)

check the ground at the battery in the trunk as well, both on the battery and on the side wall, I have seen a few vehicles where the ground post rusted threw and broke off.. also check ALL the fuses in the rear fuse box, make sure all fuses and diodes are fully seated..

check fuse #11 in the front fuse box to be sure it is not popped, this is the main computer fuse, if it pops the car won't start..

Wow! Whoah! Mr. I you are amazingly quick. I will check fuse # 11 right this instant. Hold on.

By the way no codes. I forgot to mention it in the first post.

Fuse # 11 is fine. No ground wire problem too . Any more ideas Mr I? You're the only people who can help me here. It is my last option to get this car towed to the dealership here.

it's so hard to troubleshoot without seeing what the car is actually doing..

there have been some that have had the WCM (wireless control module) that controls the RFID key get "stuck" removing the negative battery cable for about 30 minutes clears the computers, and reconnecting them "reboots" the system..

that's about all I have, without plugging a starscan into the car to see what is going on..

Hi Mr. I. Thanks for the input.

You see the car just rotates and wont start. I experienced the same thing with my expedition and it was the main relay but on the expedition the odometer reading was ------ instead of the numbers when it happened. On the 300 it shows the odomoter.

Is there a relay for the main computer too? Or just a fuse?

Rear box

Relay-RUN

and

Relay-Fuel Pump

would be the next things to check IMO

you should have 2 spares back there, inserted but not connected to anything, specifically for this kind of thing.
