Electic problem?

So i had an HID fail me. The connection got water in so i took it apart cleaned out the corusion re hooked it. Then called it a night. I left the glove box open and the batteri ran down. The next day the car started at first i did a few things and tested everything before i put the front back on. The lights come on the fog come on but after a couple min the fogs go off. I noticed the heated seat also don't work. I checked the volts and there down to 11.3 I turn on the fogs they stay on a couple mins volts fall to under 11 and they go off. The fuse never blows the relay clicks off and on i replaced both for the hell of it. No codes ither just the low batteri and no car starting. I'm chargering the batteri tonight and will try again tomarrow. So does anyone think the low batteri is whats causeing the relay to shut off?

Relays have pickup and dropout voltage requirements, so yes with a low battery they can shut off.

If you have not ever replaced your 5-year old battery, it's time anyway. "Just do it."

Thats what i was thinking. And I asked the chicken master on LX. He thinks it might be Battier too. But he did think the Glove box had a timmer shut off like the dom light. I Don't think it does im almost positve it was on the next morning. Plus the trunk doesnt have one so why would the glove box.

Anyway What batteri should i get.

What FnkyChkn might have been thinking was the Magnum gate light. It comes on when you open the liftgate, but goes out after a while. The 300s trunk light should have worked the same way IMO, but doesn't.

I'm fairly sure the glove box light, and the dome lights (IF you press them to ON) do not have timers that turn them off when forgotten.

So criss averted meaning no dealer trip involved. It was the Batteri. After charging the Fogs stay on. Didn't know a relay could be like that learned something new.
Tim,like i said I'm almost positive the glove box stays on all the time. I'd test the theory but i don't feel like charging the battery again. HAHA

It's funny on the dome light that if there pressed on they stay on but why don't they go off after a time too that would be another great safety feature. Love the maggie hatch light don't have to think about it wish all the lights were like it.
