Battery blew up.

Glad to be here. The other day I went to the gun range, and left a box of 223 ammo in the trunk. Three days later I'm in Houston, about 100 miles from home, somehow it opened and a bullet got grounded on the battery, well it blew up my battery and caught the spare tire cover on fire. It took my three hour to clean & neutralize the acid at an Autozone. I know it was due to be careless with the box of ammo. Just wanted to let yall know. Getting new cover and everything should look new again.

You know, you are damn lucky that no one got killed. A fire and live .223 ammo is a bad mix and .223's would easily rip through the car and could kill innocent bystanders. Now look, if I don't have the story straight, then set me straight but I have to say as a lover of guns, having boxes of ammo sitting in your trunk doesn't sound like smart gun ownership. Hope you learned something from this and will be WAY more cautious in the future..

The life you save, may be your own!

I remember when I had a can of green gas explode in the back seat of my car. It's a gas for my airsoft pistols. An entire bag of roughly 2000 airsoft bb's fragged my interior. Luckily it was an old car and only my issued backpack was destroyed. Ever since I transport the cans in an old 7.62 ammo can from work. Thank goodness for base supply!

That's awesome! I used to play when I was stationed in Las Vegas at Nellis AFB. We'd go out into the desert to an abandoned and condemned warehouse or crack house and shoot it up CQB style. Or we'd head on up to the mountains and play some woods stuff. There was an indoor CQB kill house at a local paintball place but it was always jam packed. I haven't played since '04 but here's some of my old toys that I still have:

Here's the kill house and a quickly retrofitted outdoors gun I have set up for CQB:

I have that MP5 RAS set up at 500 fps and it spits quick! I ran an AK barrel through that silencer and had all the eternals done up by my friend including the high torque motor. We had to quit using it in the kill house because the bb's would shatter on impact and frag exposed skin cutting everyone up on full auto. So they let me squeak by on single fire and/or use my Glock 18c full auto. That is only at about 450 fps.
