There is no money to spend on parts, so the dealers can't get them, and any parts

We are at their mercy it seems. You want to buy american, but they make it harder
and harder to that.
I have a 2005 300C as well, and my wheels have the corrosion starting on them. I
was told I would have to wait almost 6 months to get the rims, IF they could get
them at all.
I have owned 6 cars in my life, all of them american, because I thought it was the
right thing to do to keep the american economy strong.
But the way things are going, my next vehicle will be a Toyota Tacoma pickup.

Imports aren't much better. I owned a lexus (toyota) and it was a biotch also. I got rid of it. One time I ordered a lip kit from a toyota dealership. The guy told me to talk to his manager, because they wanted the money upfront. No way was I paying 1200 up front and then waiting 3 months plus. Oh this took 1 week + to do. The guy finally gets my info and the car info, card info etc. 3 weeks + goes by and I knew he didn't put anything in the system and just sat on it, nothing came out of my account. He called up saying that he needed more info. I told him to basically kick rocks.
OH (lexus) toyota tried to charge my mechanic damn near $700 for a hose on my car and weren't sure when it was going to be in. This was for a 92 lexus sc300.
I have a family member that lexus was pressing to get a new car. Also we found out they weren't really inspecting the car just going off of their computer. They didn't know she was going to a different mechanic. They were doing all kinds of shady stuff. They charged her for a new filter when all they did was clean that one. Along with other things. Then there was the sales tactics etc.
The only dealerships I know that really do good work would be BMW. That's most their places.
