engine light came on

This morning my engine light came on. This could mean anything right? any tips or suggestions for me to check this out?

First you'll need to tell us what codes you have. To find out, put your key in the ignition and go...

ACC/ON ACC/ON ACC/ON

If you have any codes they'll appear in your EVIC. Write them down and post in this thread. Good luck!

^^ Yep! He beat me to it. Make sure to tighten your gas cap up with several clicks. did you get gas recently BTW?

Thanks Mr I and Bernie...

and yes I fueled up yesterday and didnt move my car until this morning when I got the engine light... I will tighten it up will the light clear it self? or would I have to reset it somehow?

remove the cap, then replace it and lock it down, be sure not cross threaded.

then pull fuse #11 in the front fuse block under the hood for 1 minute (key out of ignition)

that will clear the computer, if it comes back then you might review the TSB Rambit posted..

Guys Im a bit confused I tightened the gas cap and when I went to pull the #11 fuse my car doesnt have one??

The last two mornings I havent let my car warm up before I leave Ive been in such a ruch I just start and go would that have something to do with it?
