P0520 Code reset

I just got the engine malfuction indicator light the other day. I read a topic by Big K, which was great. He mentioned that you could reset the illuminated errors (warnings) on the dash but didnít mention how to do this. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I Still need to replace the oil pressure switch, but this givies me a little more time.

You can pop the hood and pull fuse 11 for a couple of minutes. Should reset it for you. I had one this weekend after adding some fuel additive and pulled fuse 11. Went away.

I remember this code comming up before. I took it to the dealer and i think they replaced a part @ $1,000. Im guessing that was the entire circut boards itself. Yeah, i got money like that. LOL i just wanted to see what that would look like posting it up. all joking aside, i had maintence insurance, which covered this all i had to pay is 50 bucks. I dont think however that they changed the sensor. I think they just went for the big stuff since i had insurance. I wish i could call up and ask but my dealer in houston is no longer open since the economy went to George bush, ahem....I mean $&$*
