whirring/humming noise help? Please!

So my 300c has gradually obtained a whirring/humming noise that sounds like it's coming from the front.

Sounds like a wheel bearing starting to go. The noise is at it's worst between 60-80 kph and almost non-existent at 110+ kph

But it's not a wheel bearing!

I bought a brand new bearing,.. placed on passenger side as I thought that one seemed bad,.. but no,.. noise is still there,.. repacked the passenger bearing and put it on the drivers,... noise is still there,.. repacked the drivers and put it back in,... noise is still there and each time with no change in tone/volume.

Is it possible if a rear bearing is going?,.. can the sound/vibration travel forward and sound like it's coming from the front?

I think i can feel some kind of vibration in the gas pedal, but not the brake?

Anyone have any insight? maybe some past experiences? Any kind of help or things to check would be helpful.

so I just went out and thought I would jack the back end off the ground, hop in and run it to about 100 kph,.... nothing,.. no whirring/humming noise

the tires I'm running are Falken fk452's - 255's

Any ideas?

I've had a similar noise on a different car that was caused by the inner edges of the tire being badly worn, so check these all round.

Problem found!

It was those damned brand new tires!

Falken fk452's

the fronts wore a bit strange - outside edges rounding a bit and the rears it's the centers that are wearing,.. but anyways,.. I swapped front to rear and the sound is almost non-existent and seems to be coming from the rear now!

Warning for all those who purchase Falken fk452's,.. you will get a gradual louder road noise that sounds/feels like a bad wheel bearing.

fyi: I know my steering/alignment is good, just had the tie rods done.
