Funny problem

I hope someone on this forum didn't post this complaint. Not trying to make fun of anyone. But I couldn't help crack-up reading this, with turtles and hard hats all over the road.
This complaint was posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration web site.

http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...0&summary=true
------------------------------------------------------------------
Make : CHRYSLER Model : 300 Year : 2005
Manufacturer : DAIMLERCHRYSLER CORPORATION
Crash : No Fire : No Number of Injuries: 0
ODI ID Number : 10128109 Number of Deaths: 0
Date of Failure: July 22, 2004
VIN : 2C3JA63H05H...
Component: STRUCTURE
Summary:
DT: THE CONSUMER OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER 300C. THE CAR SITS TOO LOW ON THE GROUND. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THEY DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO ALTER THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM THIS IS JUST THE WAY THE CAR IS MADE. WHILE GETTING OFF OF A TURN PIKE THERE WAS A TURTLE COMING ACROSS THE ROAD BUT IT WAS BETWEEN THE TIRES AND THE BOTTOM OF HIS CAR, THE VEHICLE SCRAPPED OVER THE TURTLE. AGAIN WHILE DRIVING IT WAS RAINING THE CONSUMER WAS IN THE MIDDLE LANE THE CAR IN FRONT RAN OVER SOMETHING AND HE HIT IT AND IT WEDGED UNDER HIS CAR HE COULD NOT TURN LEFT OR RIGHT HE HAD TO DRIVE A QUARTER MILE TO GET OFF THE ROAD AND HE COULD NOT GET UNDER THE CAR SO HE HIT IT WITH A GOLF CLUB AND LATER FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS A HARD HAT THAT GOT STUCK. *JB

I hear them.... In the dusk, I run over the end of a very narrow island on a McDonald's parking lot and had no idea it was there as no cars were around. If a car was parked there there I would get around. My car landed on the island and lost rocker molding along driver's side. Cost me $410 Canadian to get new one.

So I guess the lift kit that we joked about really is needed in some situations.

Wonder what happen to the guy wearing the hard hat?????
Someone should tell them to avoid objects in the middle of the road instead of running them over! LOL
NTHSA actually takes those kind of complaints? Good use of tax dollars!!
