Check your weatherstripping...

I happened to notice two places where the weatherstripping has begun to 'fail'...one by the bottom of the driver's door in the sill area and the more concerning one...small holes/tears in the very slim weatherstripping around the sunroof. Have an appointment Monday to have them look at these (as well as my non-functioning tilt wheel).

Just take a look at yours.

Thanks

I will be making an appointment, I also noticed on my driver's door weather stripping isn't as present as it should be. Actually I noticed on the inside of the door sill what look like dust particles and couldn't figure out how it was getting there, but now I know. So again thanks for the info!

No problem! Good luck. I just dropped mine off about an hour ago, the service advisor said these items looked strange, but didn't give me a hassle about them.

Update

Well, parts are on order. Steering needs some components replaced (per TSB), door weatherstripping to be replaced, killer is they are replacing the whole sunroof glass to fix the weatherstripping issue around it...and they are having the new one tinted like the one they are about to replace. Parts should be in next week so they can do it all at the same time.

I had the exact same problem with mine, showed it to the dealer, and they replaced it no questions asked. Just happened on the driver door.

It was from, my guess, water inside the weather stipping in the winter, and then it froze and when I opened the door, the frozen weather stripping stuck to the car as I opened the door.
