Failed OBDII due to O2 Sensor and Catalyst not ready

well i tried to get a safety here in new york for my 300C and three times in a row after driving the car for so many miles and doing the whole resetting of the computer still says not ready. well i decided to take the ride over to the local dealership to see if they would be able to tell me why they keep saying not ready, just to add im that type of person that hate getting repairs at dealership its a rip off.. anyway the dealership tells me that the car is gonna keep failing both of this because it has aftermarket catalyst and O2 sensors. i wanted to laugh at them so bad, but held my composure and told them to give me a price quote on what it will cost me to get this fixed. here is where i really wanted to laugh hard at them, well they tell me i need to replace the whole catalyst system and they said the left side was gonna be $950, the right $800 and for the four O2 sensors $50 each. now anyone would be crazy to pay for that. so i replaced just the O2 sensors went to autozone n got all 4 of them for $115 and took the car to diff state to get safety n to my surprise it passed with flying colors anyone else had this happen or anything like it. Sorry if this has been posted already elsewhere i will delete the thread if it has.

I have heard that you won't pass emissions with high-flow cats. If you have a Predator, you may be able to get away with turning the rear o2's off. G/L
