Bring your ass to Denver and buy one, like I told you to do in May!!!!!!! We didn't get the HID headlights like we wanted but having the car early in the game is what is the most fun, before they are being seen everywhere. If you fly into DIA, I will pick you up and take you to the dealership, they will know we are serious when we pull up in my 300.

4 months in BX for an AWD C...something is messed up. You should have already been in D or D1 status by now for a C (probably should've had your car delivered by now). I would check with another dealer, my guess is your dealer probably sold your car and ordered another. Lots of that stuff was going on when the C was really hot in the market. I haven't heard anything about that happening recently but my understanding is that a new order in they system should be fulfilled in 12 weeks or so(many people have reported much shorter wait times). Something does not seem right, unless production has dropped because of the SRT and Charger...which I guess is a possibility .

Awdriver

I too was in the same boat. Ordered my AWD in December. I was told there were some issues with driveline binding so they were re-engineering. I got sick of waiting, so I ordered a RWD on June 1, and it was delivered on July 12th.

The dealership has still not seen the AWD order yet.

Here's An Interesting Tidbit

I just copied and pasted this from another post... cuz it was easier...

(I ordered my 300C AWD pretty much loaded over 10 weeks ago. The dealer has been unresponsive and from Chrysler the only status I could get was that the car was on "indefinite hold". From this site I learned that (they are scheduled to begin again making them in early September) - so the wait is real long if you order. There are some in locations around the country that were made in the first run of 2006 - I am hoping that I might find one to my liking. It has been really frustrating - I was so psyched on this car and am getting close to scrapping the idea of getting one all together.)

So... they are not even going to start making them again till september????

I got my dealer on it... And no... he didn't sell my car... I would know.. I live in a small town..

But if this is true... I might just have to scrap the idea of getting a 300 like this guy is talking about cuz I can't be carless until FRICKING OCTOBER!

Hey AWDRIVER, greetings from Coeur d' alene; good to see another North Idahoan here! Are you dealing with the dealership in Sandpoint? They probably don't have sufficient allocation , that's why you are still in BX. If you haven't already you should call Dave Smith in Kellogg. I know back in June they had quite a few AWD C's in stock, and they sell for invoice or less. People fly in from all over to buy there but lots of folk in the area don't seem to go there. Just a thought!

Good Idea..... but...

Yes it is a good idea... but no dealers right now are going to get anymore 2006 AWD 300C's until september... They have been put on hold... Why? I don't know... but I saw it with my own 2 eyes on his computer screen.. and he called them as well.. Same Idea... No AWD 300's going back into production until Semptember...

And my dealer is going to put on my (CAI)Cold Air intake, my grill, my lower grill inserts, ect ect ect...For free...

Also he is giving me a hell of a deal when the fricking thing finally get's here...

I will admit had I ordered from dave smith in February Like I did from Taylor Parker... I would have my car right now... (crappy deal) I know... But that's how the fart floats sometimes...

Good to see another north Idahoan on here... what kind of rims do you have???

Peace out.. .

hey AWDRIVER , you probably would not have gotten an order any sooner from Dave Smith, I just know they had quite a few AWD's in stock at the end or May/beginning of June ( I used to work there...)

My 300C is completely stock including wheels. I'm buying it from my dad because the SRT8 he ordered in January ( from Dave Smith) is FINALLY coming....due in early next week. Once Dad gets his SRT then I'll have my C and the first thing I'll do is tint. I don't like many of the mods on the 300C, I think it's a real classy car as is.... As for wheels, I'd like to find some stock SRT8 wheels once people start putting "bling bling" wheels on those!

I decided not to get the AWD because I wont drive this car in the winter anyway, I've got a FWD accord and a 4x4 bronco for that. Have you driven an AWD already? Just curious how the handling and power compares to the RWD "C"... I'll let you know how the SRT8 compares when Dad gets his !

I also ordered a 300C AWD over 3 1/2 months ago - no build date yet. Undestand that they won't begin building them again until September - maybe by Thanksgiving I will have one - or perhaps I should wait for the 2007s ?!?!
