Average Wait Time

Finally, my car was delivered. Here is my records that I kept on my progression. I didn't order a C, I ordered a limited. I hope that this helps people out.

07/02/04 - Order went in
07/08/04 - Waiting on the materials
07/13/04 - BX
07/20/04 - BX (I changed the options)
07/27/04 - BX
08/03/04 - BX
08/10/04 - BX
08/11/04 - C Estimated 2nd week of Sept to be built.
08/13/04 - D1 Should be completed by 9/7/04. Got VIN. Went into be scheduled on 8/12/04
08/17/04 - D1
08/20/04 - D1
08/26/04 - In Transit Rail Car on Norfolk Southern. Delivered to St. Louis by 8/28. Switch to Union Pacific car, off to Muncie KS.
09/02/04 - Same as 8/26. DC has no idea and update past this. Car has switched to UP.
09/09/04 - Car was delivered.

Ordered my C on 8 May. As of this morning it is on a truck at the railyard across town and will be delivered to dealer this afternoon. Can't wait.

Picked up my 300C yesterday afternoon. Got the tint done this morning (absolutely essential out here in Phoenix) and got a grand total of 99 miles on my C. What a sweet ride.

Ordered my 300C on 06/29 went into BX, was notified by dealer on 09/10/04 that it went to BG becauce of Nav unit, It's been a long, Long Time to wait.They have no idea how long it will be in BG ststus.

DCX said NAV is delayed until sometime in October... Did not say reason why.

called DCX on 9/10/04 anthat I went from BX to BG, when asked why there was no reason. I asked about the Nav units and they said there wasn't a problem. Who knows.

Ordered my C on 13 July, drove it away on 09 Sept. My NAV system is working fine. I wonder what the actual hold up is?

I went in BG status as of 9/10 as well. The NAV unit is backordered. There is nothing wrong with them. I called DCX and they said I am in BG and I need to call my dealer as they get weekly faxes with restrictions and could tell me exactly why. They matched my restriction up and it was that the Nav unit was backordered until Oct. sometime. No biggie as its a second vehicle...but obviously would still be nice to have it here! :-)

Ordered my Black 300C 6/8, was in BX until 8/2, while in D - build dates of 8/25, 8/22, 9/11, 9/16, and went D1 9/9. I'll believe it (the build date) when I see it (the 300C)!!! Thank God, I don't have the NAV system. Waiting - not so patiently!!
