Did something change with DCX phone number? I no longer get the same options as we used to. It automatically sends me to a different recording and all I can press is that 1 I am a customer, 5 that I need help. Then sooner or later I get connected.

I can not seem to get into the loop where these options are available. 1,2,5,2,3,phone#, 1

Does anyone have any suggestions? The number I have been calling is still the 1-800-992-1997

I just called yesterday and yes, the options you need to choose is 1,5 and then wait through the horrendous music until someone gets your call. I spoke to someone and they were helpful...car is in D status!

I contacted them last night and this morning. One told me mine was shipped and the other said it was scheduled to build, but she did not know the date. Two days ago I called and one said it was on the line and that I would forsure get it before Thanksgiving.

I am not getting as sound answers as I used to. The one that said it was scheduled could not tell me if it was in D, or D1, or what it was in. I found out it was in D status as of October 18. Would just like to know if it has moved from there.

Very confused now. I will call later today and see if I can get a hold o a person who knows there stuff.

I have found in my many phone calls to DCX that there are two different customer service centers that the 800 number connects you to. I know it sounds funny, but if you call the 800 number and you get the recording that asks you to press "1" if you are a customer and then it goes directly to the 5 choices in which you choose "5" for "all other inquiries." This takes you to the CS center that has very little and very vague information about your order. Now, The recording you want to hear is please press "1" if you are a customer, then the recording will ask "if you know the party's extension, please enter it now." It will then take you through all of the other questions until it gets to a human. I will call the 800 number and hangup when I get the first recording example. I will then redial the 800 number until I get the second recording example. I hope this makes sense. Sorry if I am not explaining it well. I'm sure if you call the 800-992-1997 number enough, you will know what I am talking about.

I just got off the phone witht the DCX rep after trying several times to get the correct CS center. He told me my 300C left Michigan on a Norfolk Southern rail car two days ago. He gave ne the car number and an 888 number for Norfolk Southern to track my vehicle. He is pretty certain it will arrive in Kansas City in the next day or two. Then it's a quick 45 minute truck ride to my dealer. Hopefully it will only take a few days for the car to be unloaded and sent to my dealer. I have read some posts saying that some cars have sat in the rail yard for 2 weeks. Hope that does not happen here.

That is the most plausible reason I have heard yet for why the CS reps sometimes have good info and other times not. That really explains a lot.

I agree, there are 2 different cs #'s. One knows what's going pon the other has no clue. If you go thruogh all the steps that's where you'll get the best info

Called DCX today. The guy today was great. He gave me the train number, told me my car left the plant 10/31/04 and left Mich on 11/02/04. If I get everything staightened out at the dealer I should have my car by11/12/04 of the first part of the following week.
