Time to start climbing the ladder. Start with the District manager. You'll need to get that info from the dealer. You need to put the some preasure on them. Tell them you want the DM to call you. File a complaint with DCX so they can look into the matter.

I ordered a 300c Silver with all options except U-Connect on Ocotber 25th. from Ladd Hanford in Lebanon, PA. The car is still in BX status, I called the dealer they said to expect to wait another 6-8 weeks. They really don't seem to have a clue as to what is going on. They keep telling me that the sunroof and the lack of Hemi's is the reason for the hold up. I am beginning to start looking at other cars, the Infiniti and the Acura look pretty good. The problem is if you need service on those I have over an hour drive to the nearest dealer.

JRGreen -
Seriously.... hold tight before looking at ANY other car other than this one. I have been in BX since October 4. Mine should be here soon but can not get a solid answer either. There are reasons this car was car of the year.
However, unless your dealer is giving you a phenom of a deal. Call a bunch of dealers and several sales managers and tell them you have a car on order but dont want to wait. Tell them what you want and tell them what you are flexible with. For example colors, interiors added options or subtracted options. They would love to beat the dealer to the punch. If they have a similar car on thier lot, they can search ALL OVER their area and make a trade for something that you want. I have several dealers searching for me and have gotten REAL close but wont budge on a couple things. I figure they will either find me an awesome car, or by that time, my order comes in. Either way, I think you will really love this car.
Just read the thread "the enjoyable little things". That should keep you happy for a bit longer.

Help me to help my sales agent. I asked him for my VON# and he replied to me he doesn’t have the VIN# yet. He obviously is unaware of the VON#, or what it is.
He gave me my customer number and a FO# which I have no idea what to do with them.
What to do?

If your dealer dosen't give you a VON# you don't have an order. It's that simple. One of the cars I ordered was from Jeeep Chrysler of Ontario, Ca. After five month they still didn't give me a VON#, chances they are placing bogus orders with your name. If I would of waited for them to get me my car I'd still be waiting. Even after you get your VON# your still in for about a 10 week wait.

Now I am starting to get ticked off. I finally got my vin a few weeks ago, i called today to get a status update and now they are saying that it won't be built until the middle of Feb. Add a few weeks for delivery and it may be March before it gets here!! Everytime I call I am told the wait is getting longer and to call back in two weeks!!! I ordered this car in October, if I keep getting delayed I may end up with a 2006!!!!!

Unhappy Build delay

Just got a call from my dealer. He said that DC put out a memo that all the cars now on order but not in production (BX I guess) are going to be divied up as "reserve" and "non-reserve".

This designation will determine whether a BX order will be built in April or will be delayed for 6 months or more from then due to the fact that the 2006 Charger will go into production on the same line in Brampton that is now being used for the 300C and Magnum. These will have to wait until the initial Charger orders are built.

The "reserve" list is supposed to come out next Monday. He didn't know for sure, but thought that being classed as "reserve" meant that that order would be built in April and the others would be delayed for the ~6 month period. Anyone know anything about this?

Mine was put on BX 1/6/05. Doesn't sound good.

110 and counting, my car wont make it to the port of Baltimore untill May 6, than I have to wait for it to arrive here in Germany. On top of all that, I will be in the States at a training course for six weeks while my car is sitting at the port in Germany. I wont be driving it untill the end of June.
