"THE CLUB" leaves indentations on my steering wheel

They seem to pop out a little after the car sat out in the sun. Would heating it with a hairdryer help?

Club?!!

Why would you need to use one of those ugly clubs?!! The car is equipped with a computerized key and an alarm system. The only way someone is going to steal the car is to tow it away. I don't think the club is going to help much in that situation.

Don't use it...like Mike5959 said, it's too easy to bypass anyway.

If you want more than the factory theft system, try the unbrakeable lock.
I use one on my vert, and it more peace of mind than anything else, and you can't see it unless you look in the car - it's not a advertisement to "steal me" like I think the club is.

If someone wants your car they will take, see the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds", best (fake) chase scenes since Bullit. Ronin with DeNero has supurb chase scenes as well, more realistic.
Back on point, I agree the club will not prevent theft in most situations, what it may do is get the teen age joy driver to move on to the next car, they don't have a clue about your Nancy Boy anti theft key, you'll have a broken window and a busted ignition cylinder for all their efforts. I used the club in Cleveland this past weekend, I don't even carry the key, slide on slide off, a visual deterrent only for any young punks going through the parking lot of the hotel who likely won't have a steering wheel cutter on them to get the club off.

Yes, it is a visual deterrent I use only in "bad" places. Where I grew up, everyone I knew had a car stolen at least once including myself--and I had a column armor but forgot to put it on that night! Anyhow, the indentations have worked their way back out but the steering wheel cover has two oval-shaped "ring-around" wrinkles. Very annoying to look at and it's right by my thumb. I'm concerned that rubbing on it will rip the cover.

I only had mine on two nights and did not notice any indentations, might be a good place to put a piece of black microfiber cloth or foam to act as a cushion.
