Any body else finding the air conditioning capacity to be low in high ambient temps? Particularly bad when at idle at a stop light. Dealer checked it and says it is operating as designed. Our other cars don't have the problem.

Yes... When it gets to be around 90+ here and the sun is beating down, the AC does not start to feel cold until you pull away from the light or bring the RPMs at or above 1000.

Same here. Taking the car in later this week for an oil change and that's on my "Check it out " list.

I have noted it too. Please advise what the dealer says or does. Thanks, regards, Bob.

bought 2005 300C...nice wheels but got problems one of which is when it gets hot out here in summer (sacramento ~ 110F) the A/C just doesn't cut it. we sat in car and were sweating. driving around makes it better. dealer checked it out and said "operating normally"......why have A/C if it doesn't keep you from sweating when you need it??

AC Problems

The service departments/managers are aware there is an AC problem.
Mine did exactly what you refer to. At the last service the dealer did find the system to be low on charge as well as "flashing" the new software upgrade that tricks the system into performing the way it should. Mine now runs, significantly colder.

There are more than one TSB out for differing AC problems.
